Türkiye Household-Disaggregated 62-Sector Long-Run Input-Output Table Series, 2000–2025

This dataset provides a household-disaggregated 62-sector long-run input-output table series for Türkiye covering the period 2000–2025. The dataset was constructed from the official benchmark input-output tables published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) for 1998, 2002, 2012 and 2023. The benchmark tables were harmonised into a common 62-sector structure compatible with the broad logic of NACE Rev. 2 / CPA-based classifications. The 1998 and 2002 benchmark tables were mapped into the common sectoral structure through aggregation and correspondence procedures, while the 2012 and 2023 benchmark tables were reduced from 64 to 62 sectors by merging L68A with L68B and T with S96. A distinctive feature of the dataset is the disaggregation of household final consumption into five quintile groups. This disaggregation was developed using the TURKSTAT Household Budget Survey and Income Statistics. The structure allows the dataset to support household-sensitive input-output analysis, Miyazawa-type models, and future Social Accounting Matrix applications. Missing annual tables between benchmark years were reconstructed using year-specific RAS bi-proportional adjustment. For each annual table, the RAS routine was run for approximately 80–100 iterations until the reconstructed table reproduced official TURKSTAT national accounts aggregates with very low deviation rates. Each annual table is macro-calibrated to reproduce official GDP through both the expenditure and value-added approaches. The workbook includes 26 annual input-output worksheets for the years 2000–2025 and one consistency-control worksheet reporting annual and account-based deviation rates. The monetary unit is nominal thousand US dollars. The dataset is intended for research on structural change, sectoral linkages, import dependence, household-sensitive demand effects, long-run economic modelling, Miyazawa-type input-output analysis, and Social Accounting Matrix development.
