The two spotted goby is a marine fish of great importance in the coastal ecosystem of the North-East Atlantic. We aim to assemble the first draft genome of the species and investigate the genetic architecture of the sex determination system. This genomic investigation will be part of a larger project looking at adult sex ratio and reproductive behaviour in natural populations.
