Total image stack of CLASP2-deficient NMJ stained for AChRs (red) and GFP-CLIP-170 (green), acquired by structural illumination microscopy. Note lower rate of AChR/GFP-CLIP-170 colocalization compared to wild-type NMJ (B1), consistent with lower rate of microtubule capturing at synaptic membrane in the absence of CLASP2.
