Fifteen pollen sample were examined from two stratigraphic columns collected at Rose
Spring in eastern California. This stratigraphic record should represent a single sequence from
approximately 3,580 to the modern surface. Pollen analysis was conducted to identify changes
in local vegetation through time during this interval.
