Microbial diversity in the barramundi gut fed single-cell protein

This project looked at the effects of single cell protein supplementation in the diet of barramundi (Lates calcarifer) fingerlings and the impacts on the gut microbiome. 3 diets were formulated with a single cell protein inclusion of 0%, 6.4% or 12.9% as a substitution of fishmeal. The distal gut of fingerlings were sampled and the gut microbiome analysed.
