Genomic sequence determined by WashU as part of a comparative genomics study. Saccharomyces kudriavzevii IFO 1802

WashU performed a comparative genomics study of several Saccharomyces species, including Saccharomyces kudriavzevii. They sequenced the Saccharomyces kudriavzevii strain IFO 1802 genome at 3.4X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. Version 1 of the assembly, which totals approximately 10.6 Mb, consists of 2,007 contigs. Version 2 of the assembly consists of 2,029 contigs. The WGS sequences have been deposited at GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ under the project accession AACI00000000.
