资源简介:
The ischiocavernosus muscle (ICM) encompasses a pair of short pinnate muscles attached to the pelvic ring. The ICM begins at the ischial tuberosity and ends at the crus of penis while covering the surface of the crus. Our previous study has shown that bilateral ICM injury can lead to erectile dysfunction (ED) and affect conception in paired females. We also observed a significant correlation between ED and ICM injury after pelvic fracture, and venous leakage at the crus of penis was detected by the patient's corpora cavernography. So we speculate that venous leakage may be caused by the reduced contractility after ICM injury and ultimately lead to ED. It has not been reported in the literature whether the use of strapping the crus of penis to block venous leakage can improve ICM injury-induced ED.The aim of this study is to establish a model of ICM injuried ED, confirm the existence of penile venous leakage by corpus cavernography, and explore a new method for the treatment of ICM injuried ED by binding the crus of penis with adjustable pressure to block penile venous blood flow.
