Slocum glider dataset gathered as part of the CMOP observatory SATURN, funded by NOAA and NSF. Glider operations have historically been seasonal (April-September), driven in part by collaboration with the Quinault Indian Nation, and focused on characterizing shelf hypoxia for fisheries management. 本数据集为美国国家海洋和大气管理局(NOAA)与美国国家科学基金会(NSF)资助的CMOP观测台网SATURN项目所采集的Slocum滑翔机观测数据。历史上,滑翔机作业多以季节性开展(4月至9月),其运作部分依托与奎诺尔特印第安民族(Quinault Indian Nation)的协作,核心目标为表征陆架缺氧状态以支撑渔业管理工作,同时该观测数据也可用于模型校准。
