The first-generation population of sea cucumber with high saponin content was established using individuals from the Nanhuangcheng sea area as the parental stock. A total of 190 sea cucumbers were randomly selected for resequencing (depth:10), and the resulting data were used for subsequent genome-wide association analysis. The aim of this project is to identify the genetic variation and key genes associated with saponin biosynthesis in sea cucumber.
