Biophilic Design for Space Habitat Habitability

This dataset contains the experimental and modeling data used to evaluate how biophilic design strategies influence habitability in confined space habitats. It includes participant responses from a within-subjects immersive simulation experiment across four biophilic design conditions (Baseline, Low, Medium, High), covering 16 habitability dimensions. The dataset also provides expert evaluation scores, composite biophilic variables (A1–A5), design elements (X), and the weighted inputs used for Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM) modeling. The materials support reproducibility of statistical analysis, machine learning modeling, and feature importance evaluation presented in the study.
