Tritium in Rainwater at Lucas Heights Science & Technology Centre (LHSTC) (2004-2007)

Rainwater samples were collected at ANSTO's meteorological station, for analysis of tritium activity. The tritium analysis included distillation of the rainwater to remove possible interfering species, such as radioiodines. Daily (24-hour) rainwater samples were collected and combined to form a weekly composite sample.

本研究于澳大利亚核科学技术组织（Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation，ANSTO）的气象站点采集雨水样本，以开展氚（tritium）活度分析。本次氚分析采用蒸馏工艺对雨水样本进行预处理，以去除放射性碘等潜在干扰物质。研究人员每日（24小时）采集雨水样本，并将多份单日样本合并为周复合样本。
