Leitungskräfte von Tageseinrichtungen für Kinder – Erweiterung von Kompetenz und Performanz durch Supervision

Tageseinrichtungen für Kinder sind ein komplexes Aufgabenfeld, weil es um Kinder mit unterschiedlichen Altersprofilen geht (Altersabstände von zwei Jahren wiegen schon schwer), weil es um Elternkontakte und Elternarbeit geht, um die Kooperation und Teamdynamik von Mitarbeiterinnen. Weiterhin geht es um die Fachlichkeit im kinder- und familienpsychologischen Bereich. Das war ein Grund 2000/2001, eine Untersuchung in diesem Bereich auf den Weg zu bringen. Heute sind die Aufgaben noch komplexer geworden durch die Multikulturalität der Kinder und ihrer Eltern und durch die Zunahme von verhaltensauffälligen Kindern. Das alles verlangt eine spezifische Feldkompetenz von SupervisorInnen, aber auch von Fachkompetenz im Bereich Entwicklungspsychologie, ggf. im Bereich Kindertherapie und Elternberatung – so die Position Integrativer Supervision. Aus diesem Grund wird diese Untersuchung zur Evaluation von Supervisionsprozessen erneut eingestellt. Sie zeigt den Nutzen von Supervision in diesem Bereich und begründet ein Eintreten für einen verstärkten Einsatz von Supervision zur Qualitätssicherung im Bereich der Kinderbetreuung. Day care facilities for children are a complex field of work, because it is about children with different age profiles (age intervals of two years already weigh heavily), because it is about contact and work with parents, about the cooperation and team dynamics of the employees. Moreover expertise in child and family psychology is a task. That was a reason 2000/2001 for a study that we made in this area. Today, the tasks have become even more complex due to the multiculturality of children and their parents and the increase in behavioral problems. All this requires a specific field competence of supervisors, but also their expertise and competence in the field of developmental psychology, possibly in the field of child therapy and parental counseling, too – so the position of Integrative Supervision. For this reason, this study of the evaluation of supervision processes is published here anew.
