This dataset is directly cropped from the 1:100,000 land use dataset of China. The 1:100,000 land use dataset of China was developed under the Major Applied Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) during the 8th Five-Year Plan (1991–1995), titled "National Remote Sensing Macro Investigation and Dynamic Research on Resources and Environment".
