资源简介:
This dataset contains the AREPO data for each 500 pc^3 grid analyzed in Zucker, Smith, & Goodman 2019. There are seven properties available per grid: Total Gas Density (in units of M_sun / 100 pc^3) Gas Temperature (in units of K) Dust Temperature (in units of K) CO abundance (w.r.t. total number density of hydrogen nucleons) HP abundance (w.r.t. total number density of hydrogen nucleons) H2 abundance (w.r.t. total number density of hydrogen nucleons) Gas Velocity (in units of km/s) Each grid corresponds to a cell size of 1 pc, so each grid is of shape 500 x 500 x 500, except for the velocity grid, which is of shape 500 x 500 x 500 x 3 (for the vx, vy, and vz components of the gas velocity). The numbering of the grids correspond to the (x,y) coordinates of the lower left hand corner of the grid in the topdown view of the disk in Figure 1 of Zucker, Smith, & Goodman 2019 or Figure 7 of Smith+2014. So, for example, \"x916y400\" corresponds to the grid whose lower left hand corner is centered on x = 9.16 kpc, y = 4.00 kpc. An example python script to read in the data and convert to cgs is available in this GitHub repository (see \"process_binaries.py\"). It will also show you how to derive the CO or H2 number density using the total gas density and abundance files. Please email Catherine Zucker or Rowan Smith with any questions!
