Transcriptional profilling of potato during a compatible interaction with the root-knot nematode Melodoigyne javanica

The aim of this study was to elucidate the molecular basis underlying the compatible interaction between potato and root-knot nematode at early stages on infection at 3 and 7dpi. Overall design: RNA profiles of 0, 3 and 7 dpi were seqquenced using Illumina tecnnology in two biological replicates. The sequenced reads that passed the quality asssement were mapped to the potato genome using histat2 v2.1.0 software and featureCounts used to count the raw reads in the R environment and finally the edgeR package used for differential analysis.
