YOLO-Based Remote Sensing Aerial Survey Dataset of Candidate Cairns and Pendants in Saudi Arabia Near Al Faw Produced with Mustatil
收藏资源简介:
This dataset presents a GIS-ready collection of candidate cairns and pendant structures identified in Saudi Arabia (44.2807281 E, 21,1526663 N) near al Faw and al through Ghar 'Adiydah YOLO-based remote sensing and aerial/satellite survey workflow using Mustatil. Mustatil was used as the main software environment for image inspection, YOLO-based object detection, review, annotation, and GIS export. The workflow was based only on YOLO object detection and did not use additional vision-language or foundation models. The dataset contains candidate archaeological features interpreted as possible cairns, burial cairns, and pendant structures detected and reviewed from remote sensing imagery. The mapped features should be understood as potential archaeological indicators only. They are not confirmed archaeological sites unless independently verified through expert review, higher-resolution imagery, field survey, or other archaeological validation methods. The dataset is intended to support archaeological prospection, cultural heritage documentation, GIS-based landscape analysis, and the development of reproducible YOLO-based workflows for large-scale remote sensing surveys in Saudi Arabia. Where applicable, the data may include GeoPackage, GeoJSON, CSV/XLSX coordinate tables, bounding boxes, class labels, confidence values, source information, and review comments.
