To study the role of GC-A and p38MAPK in podocytes, we used microarray analysis and compared gene expression profiles of the glomerulus of GC-A fl/fl p38 fl/fl Nephrin-Cre(Cre/+) mice and GC-A fl/fl p38 fl/fl Nephrin-Cre (+/+) mice. GC-A: guanylyl cyclase-A We analyzed glomerular mRNA expressions of GC-A fl/fl p38 fl/fl Nephrin-Cre (Cre/+) mice and GC-A fl/fl p38 fl/fl Nephrin-Cre(+/+) mice at 2 months of age after high salt diet(6%NaCl) and aldosterone administration(0.2μg/kg body weight per minute) using osmotic minipump (ALZET2004, Cupertino, CA) for 3 weeks
