CLIVeg datasets: vegetation surveys, butterfly occurrences, and soil trophic-group abundances from the French Alps

This record contains the processed ecological datasets used in the CLIVeg study, “CLIVeg: Contrastive Image-Vegetation Alignment for Botany-Aware Earth Observation Representations”. The deposited data support the downstream evaluation of CLIVeg in the French Alps across three ecological tasks: plant presence prediction from vegetation surveys, butterfly occurrence prediction, and soil trophic-group abundance prediction. The files include analysis-ready target matrices, sample metadata, train/test splits, and associated documentation needed to reproduce the downstream experiments reported in the manuscript.
