The goal of the study was to determine the gene expression of monocytes vs microglia during remyelination. Overall design: 10 week-old male C57Bl/6J mice were anaesthetized with isoflurane before stereotaxic injection of 2 μl of 1% lysolecithin (LPC; vol/vol) into the corpus callosum and sacrificed 10 days later.
