Museums in the Netherlands

The dataset Museums in the Netherlands contains all visiting addresses of museums that meet criteria established by the National Cultural Heritage Agency and CBS. These are all museums registered in the Museum Register plus unregistered museums that, among other things, have their own website, are open at a fixed location, are open at least 28 weeks a year and are not for profit. As of 1 January 2022, there were 629 museum organisations that comply with this. Since the criteria used in this selection have been strictly applied and certain organisations, such as botanical gardens and museum-affiliated institutions, have not been taken into account, the total number of active museum organisations in the Netherlands is larger.本数据集《荷兰境内博物馆》收录了所有符合荷兰国家文化遗产局（National Cultural Heritage Agency）与荷兰中央统计局（CBS）制定标准的博物馆的参观地址。其收录范围既包含荷兰博物馆登记册（Museum Register）中的在册博物馆，也涵盖未登记在册但满足以下条件的博物馆：拥有独立官方网站、设有固定开放场所、每年至少开放28周且为非营利机构。 截至2022年1月1日，符合该标准的博物馆机构共计629家。由于本次筛选严格执行既定标准，且未将植物园、博物馆附属机构等特定类型的机构纳入统计范围，因此荷兰境内实际运营的博物馆机构总数要多于本次数据集收录的数量。
