THEMIS Probes Magnetopause Crossings List in 2007 and 2008

This is a comprehensive catalog of magnetopause crossings established and used in the article "Uneven compression levels of Earth's magnetic fields by shocked solar wind" by Shue et al., 2011, Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics. This catalog documents 1,397 magnetopause crossings identified by THEMIS, including the timestamp, spatial coordinates (in the GSM coordinate system), and the THEMIS probe associated with each crossing. All crossing events were manually identified and annotated using data from the Fluxgate Magnetometer (FGM) and Electrostatic Analyzer (ESA) instruments, as detailed in Shue et al. (2011).
