The role and impact of female scientists in Colombian mammalogy: a multi-sourced data analysis

This dataset compiles information on scientific production related to Colombian mammalogy, including peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, and academic theses. The database was assembled to evaluate the participation and impact of female scientists in mammalogy research associated with Colombia.Records span from 1960 to 2022. Most studies correspond to research conducted in Colombia, although some publications include broader geographic scopes that incorporate Colombian mammal species or institutions.The methodology used to identify, compile, and classify publications is described in detail in Camargo-Sanabria et al. (2026).
