Between the seasons 2009/2010 and 2018/2019, the aggregated audience of the Serie A soccer league in Italy increased overall. In 2009/2010, the Serie A audience reached 8.9 million. In 2018/2019, this figure peaked at 9.2 million. By contrast, in 2018/2019 the Serie B audience decreased compared to the previous year.
