Atmospheric Science Data Center

The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) at NASA Langley Research Center is responsible for processing, archiving, and distribution of NASA Earth science data in the areas of radiation budget, clouds, aerosols, and tropospheric chemistry. The ASDC specializes in atmospheric data important to understanding the causes and processes of global climate change and the consequences of human activities on the climate. The ASDC is one of the Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs) that archive and distribute earth science data, managed by NASA's Earth Science Data and Information System Project (ESDIS), as part of the Earth Science Data Systems (ESDS) Program.美国国家航空航天局（NASA）兰利研究中心的大气科学数据中心（Atmospheric Science Data Center, ASDC）负责处理、存档与分发NASA在辐射收支、云、气溶胶及对流层化学领域的地球科学数据。该中心专注于助力理解全球气候变化的成因与过程，以及人类活动对气候造成影响的相关大气数据。ASDC是地球观测系统数据与信息系统（Earth Observing System Data and Information System, EOSDIS）旗下的分布式主动存档中心（Distributed Active Archive Centers, DAACs）之一，负责存档并分发地球科学数据，该体系由NASA地球科学数据与信息系统项目（Earth Science Data and Information System Project, ESDIS）管理，隶属于地球科学数据系统（Earth Science Data Systems, ESDS）计划。
