On May 23, 1927, the M8.0 earthquake in Gulang triggered numerous landslides. Comprehensively and objectively obtaining the full panorama of this earthquake-triggered landslide event is of critical significance for understanding the macroscopic mechanisms, development intensity, distribution patterns and regularity of earthquake-induced landslides, as well as for post-disaster recovery and reconstruction and landslide disaster prevention and mitigation in the affected region.
