Adherence to recommended immunization schedule during adolescence: findings of a cross-sectional study in the Southern part of Italy

The dataset was used in a cross-sectional study aimed to provide insight into potential predictors of adolescent vaccination. The study was carried out in a month, between March and April 2022, and involved students attending University “Magna Græcia” of Catanzaro. An anonymous survey was sent via institutional email through a URL code consisting of four sections. The first section gathered information about the participants’ sociodemographic characteristics. The second section investigated the beliefs on vaccination decision-making. The third section investigated adherence to recommended (i.e., MenACWY and HPV) and mandatory (i.e., dTap-IPV) vaccinations during adolescence. The final section examined sources of information about vaccinations, related satisfaction, and the need for additional information on the topic. The data were analyzed using STATA software, version 19.0.
