资源简介:
Spatially explicit residential building inventory for Galveston Island, Texas, comprising approximately 22,000 buildings linked to 33,302 housing units (20,381 occupied, 12,921 vacant) through the Housing Unit Allocation (HUA) method. Each building footprint polygon is attributed with structural archetype codes for wind, surge-wave, and flood fragility analyses, number of stories, year of construction, total and ground-floor square footage, replacement cost, contents value, appraised building value, HAZUS occupancy category, number of dwelling units, first-floor elevation above mean sea level, building height, and a globally unique identifier (guid) that serves as the primary join key across all downstream damage, loss, dislocation, and housing-recovery tables. The inventory is provided as a single ESRI shapefile in WGS 1984 (EPSG:4326). It serves as the core built-environment input to the multi-hazard damage assessment, the population dislocation model, and the tract-level multi-objective mitigation optimization described in the companion paper by Amini et al. (2025).
