Data set :Measurement of DHWA/HA ratio, hoof solar surface size and palmar trimming length in horse with strategic palmar trimming. Data was collected by quatitative measurement of hoof conformation from the capture images of each horse at given time point.The data was collected during 2021-2022. The aim of this study is to investigate the potential of strategic palmar trimming before conventional shoeing for managing underrun heels in horses.Methodology detail, the hoof conformation including, dorsal hoof wall angle, heel angle, solar surface dimension are measured before the commencement of the study. the palmar trimming length before shoeing is also determined.Data are compared before (0 wk) and at 5 week intervals for 30 weeks.The experiment in animal was approved by institutional animal care and use committee, Kasetsart university (ACKU64-VET-040)

数据集:针对接受计划性掌侧修蹄的马匹,其DHWA(dorsal hoof wall angle,蹄背壁角)/HA(heel angle,蹄跟角)比值、蹄底表面积及掌侧修蹄长度的测量数据集。本数据集采集于2021至2022年间,通过对各受试马匹在指定时间点拍摄的影像进行定量测量,获取其蹄部形态相关数据。本研究旨在探究常规装蹄前实施计划性掌侧修蹄,对马匹蹄跟过低(underrun heels)问题的管理潜力。研究方法细节:本研究启动前即对受试马匹的蹄部形态指标进行测量,涵盖蹄背壁角、蹄跟角及蹄底表面积,同时确定装蹄前的掌侧修蹄长度。分别在基线(0周)以及后续每5周进行一次数据采集,共计随访30周,并对各时间点的测量数据进行对比分析。本动物实验已获得泰国农业大学(Kasetsart University)机构动物护理与使用委员会批准,审批编号为ACKU64-VET-040。
