This folder contains a lesson event recording tool (based upon a Microsoft
Excel (2016) spreadsheet). It was developed and applied during a study at
a small UK school. The tool was used to record the activities of 67
students and 7 teachers in 40 lessons. These data are included in the
folder, along with files explaining the data format plus instructions for
using the program. The main advantages of this tool are that it can be
used in any lesson, not just those using technology, and it produces
instant data for analysis.
