Hypselothyrea dimidiata DE MEIJERE, 1906 DE MEIJERE 1906: 194. Material studied: syntype male (HNHM): labels as given by de JONG (2000: 65). Thorax incl. scutellum, frons and also most of the legs are yellow, which make this species easily recongisable. The syntype now in the Berlin Museum must have been also in the HNHM (cf. DUDA 1928: 85). He did not mean to keep a duplicate, since he did not describe this species (cf. BÄCHLI 1984 a).双分高眼虻（Hypselothyrea dimidiata） DE MEIJERE，1906 DE MEIJERE 1906：第194页。 研究标本：合模（syntype）雄虫（HNHM）：标本标签信息详见de JONG（2000：65）。 胸部（包括小盾片）、额区以及大部分足均呈黄色，该特征可使该种极易被识别。 现收藏于柏林博物馆的该合模标本，最初应亦保存于HNHM（参见DUDA 1928：85）。 命名者并未留存复份模式标本，因其并未对该物种进行正式描述（参见Bächli 1984a）。
