UV Data Record Release 1, daily maximum dose rate, DNA damage weighting - Multimission

This product gives the daily maximum dose rate of solar ultraviolet radiation for a given day. The solar spectral irradiance arriving on a horizontal Earth's surface at a given location and time of day is weighted by an action spectrum and integrated over wavelength to yield the dose rate. The DNA damage action spectrum is applied for this product. The dose rates are calculated with half-hourly intervals during the sunlit part of the day and the maximum value is reported. Input total column ozone data are obtained from GOME-2/Metop measurements while daily cloud data are collected from multiple overpasses of AVHRR/3 instrument onboard both Metop and NOAA satellites.

本数据集提供指定日期的太阳紫外线辐射每日最大剂量率。将指定地点、指定时刻抵达地球水平地表的太阳光谱辐照度，经作用光谱加权后在全波长范围内积分，即可得到剂量率。本数据集采用DNA损伤作用光谱（DNA damage action spectrum）开展计算。剂量率以每日日照时段内的半小时为间隔进行测算，并取其中最大值作为最终输出结果。输入的总柱臭氧数据源自GOME-2/Metop的观测结果，而每日云量数据则采集自Metop与NOAA卫星搭载的AVHRR/3仪器的多次过境观测。
