Canton of Yonne within the meaning of INSEE

Layers of the Yonne cantons as of 1 January 2016. The canton is a territorial subdivision of the borough. It is the electoral district in which a duo of departmental councillors is elected. The cantons, like the departments, were created by the law of 22 December 1789. In most cases, the cantons comprise several municipalities. But the cantons do not always respect the municipal boundaries: the most populated municipalities belong to several cantons. A township belongs to one and only one arrondissement. Layer different from that of the pseudo-cantons of the Carto BD layer #58 N_CANTON_BDC_ddd) because the latter contains the canton of attachment of the municipalities (finer definition to be provided). The cantons were amended by decree of 13 February 2014.2016年1月1日版约讷省（Yonne）各县行政区划图层 县（canton）是区级行政辖区的次级行政区划，同时也是选举省议员双人组的法定选举选区。与省（department）一样，各县均由1789年12月22日的法案设立。多数情况下，单个县包含多个市镇；但各县行政区划并不完全遵循市镇边界——人口规模较大的市镇会被划入多个县内。单个市镇仅隶属于一个行政专区（arrondissement）。本图层与Carto BD图层#58 N_CANTON_BDC_ddd所收录的伪县图层存在差异，原因在于后者包含了市镇所属的县归属信息（其更精细的定义有待补充）。各县行政区划已于2014年2月13日通过政令完成调整。
