资源简介:
Intergenerational acquired resistance (IAR) is a phenomenon by which a parent plant transfers a tress-memory to its progeny, resulting in an enhanced defense capacity of said progeny plants. In this study, parent rice plants (cv Nipponbare) were inoculated with the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne graminicola or with mock. The roots of their progeny, called IAR and naive plants, respectively, were investigated for the presence of 3 histone modifications through chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by next-generation sequencing. Antibodies against activating histone mark histone 3 lysine 4 trimethylation (H3K4me3) and repressive histone marks H3K9me2 and H3K27me3 were used.
