Reference Elevation Model of Antarctica

Reference Elevation Model of Antarctica (REMA) 是一个高分辨率、带时间戳的数字表面模型(DSM)，空间分辨率为2米，覆盖了几乎整个南极洲。该数据库由数十万个立体数字高程模型(DEM)构建而成，这些模型来源于2009年至2024年间获取的亚米级(0.32至0.5米)分辨率卫星影像。REMA数据可用于地形变化检测、遥感处理校正、地球动力学和冰流建模、接地线测绘以及地表过程研究。

Reference Elevation Model of Antarctica (REMA) is a high-resolution, time-stamped digital surface model (DSM) with a spatial resolution of 2 meters, covering nearly the entire Antarctic continent. This database is constructed from hundreds of thousands of stereo digital elevation models (DEMs) derived from sub-meter (0.32 to 0.5 meter) resolution satellite imagery acquired between 2009 and 2024. REMA data can be used for topographic change detection, remote sensing processing correction, geodynamic and ice flow modeling, grounding line mapping, and surface process research.
