The complex pathology of diabetic retinopathy (DR) is difficult to dissect, given the convoluted cytoarchitecture of retina. To elucidate the factors mediating the pathogenesis of DR, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) of retina from type 2 diabetic model which induces by leptin receptor-deficient (db/db) mice and control db/m mice at the age of 8 mouth.
