PGCB Bangladesh Hourly Power Dispatch Dataset (2015–2025), Cleaned
收藏资源简介:
Hourly generation, demand, load-shedding, fuel-mix, and cross-border import data for Bangladesh's national power grid, compiled from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) daily dispatch reports, 2015-04-17 through 2025-09-17 (94,962 raw hourly observations). This release provides both the raw compiled data and a cleaned, harmonized, era-tagged version with a fully documented data-quality correction log. Important notes on interpreting this data Loadshed reporting begins mid-2022, not grid conditions. Non-zero Loadshed appears in under 0.5% of hours in every year 2015 through mid-2022, then jumps to 36% in July 2022 and 96.6% in August 2022. This reflects a change in PGCB's public disclosure practice coincident with the country's 2022 fuel-supply crisis, not the actual onset of load-shedding, which predates this by years. Do not treat Loadshed == 0 before mid-2022 as "no load-shedding occurred." Demand changes meaning at the same boundary. Before mid-2022, Demand is effectively served demand (it equals Generation in ~99% of hours). After, it reflects unrestricted demand, with the shortfall captured in Loadshed. Any feature comparing Demand to Generation is not comparable across this boundary. Adani is a reporting reclassification, not new capacity, as of 2024-08-28. At the exact hour this column begins, Coal drops sharply with no corresponding system-wide demand change — evidence that Adani-sourced (India) coal-fired import was previously bundled into the generic Coal line. Use coal_total = Coal + Adani for any analysis spanning this date.
