The METTL3 RNA methyltransferase regulates androgen signalling in castrate resistant prostate cancer cells

siRNAs targeting METTL3 used to deplete METTL3 in castrate resistant LNCaP:C42 and 22Rv1 prosate cancer cells and the effect on basal and androgen regulated gene expression and splicing determined. Overall design: A pool of siRNAs were used to deplete METTL3 in castrate resistant but enzalutamide sensitive LNCaP:C42 and enzalutamide-resistant 22Rv1 prostate cancer cells and the effect on basal and androgen (R1881, 1nM) regulated gene expression and alternative splicing determined using RNA sequencing.
