云南省重点保护陆生野生动物造成人身财产损害补偿办法

This document is the *Measures for Compensation for Personal and Property Damage Caused by Key Protected Terrestrial Wild Animals in Yunnan Province*, which was adopted at the 8th executive meeting of the People's Government of Yunnan Province on September 11, 1998, and is hereby promulgated and shall come into force. These Measures are formulated to ensure that citizens, legal persons and other organizations are entitled to government compensation in accordance with the law when they sustain personal or property damage arising from the protection of national and provincial key protected terrestrial wild animals. They are enacted pursuant to the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wildlife, the Regulations on the Protection of Terrestrial Wild Animals of Yunnan Province and other relevant laws and regulations, as well as in light of the actual situation of Yunnan Province.
