2000 Census Roads

Census TIGER/Line data was merged together into a statewide layer from data originally available by county from the US Census Bureau. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). DASC joined the road features from the Census Bureau's "Edges" layer with attributes in the "featnames" table, merged identical features, and parsed address label information.
