This dataset is the second soil survey data collected in Shaanxi Province from 1979 to 1990. It covers sections such as basic overview, various area statistics, and soil physical and chemical properties. In terms of data organization, it takes the provincial soil classification system and administrative divisions as the main framework, hierarchically presenting the current status and characteristics of soil resources from soil group to soil species, and from the provincial level down to prefecture (city), county (district) levels, which ensures the systematic nature of the data materials. It includes a total of 25 tables, such as the statistical table of soil agricultural production problems and limiting factors, provincial soil area summary table, graded area table of alkaline hydrolyzable nitrogen content in soil plow layers, graded area table of available zinc in soil, and graded area table of available copper in soil.
