British Geological Survey (BGS) Sampling Survey 1986/3: North of Scotland (01/Oct/1986 to 30/Nov/1986)

This British Geological Survey (BGS) sampling survey took place during October & November 1986 to the North and West of the Shetland Islands on board the MV Kommandor Subsea. To the East of the Shetland Islands a geochemical sampling programme was carried out. Seabed samples and cores were collected using Shipek grab, Vibrocorer and Gravity corer. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS Internal Report WB/87/7.

此次由英国地质调查局（British Geological Survey，简称BGS）主持的采样调查于1986年10月至11月在MV Kommandor Subsea船上对设得兰群岛北部和西部进行了实地考察。在设得兰群岛东部，实施了地球化学采样计划。通过使用Shipek抓斗、Vibrocorer和重力钻芯等设备，采集了海底样品和岩芯。这些数据已由BGS进行归档。调查的技术细节收录在BGS内部报告WB/87/7中。
