The purpose of an admission register was to record basic details about children admitted to the school and their parents or guardians. The registers were also used to record the progress of the children through various classes and the date of their leaving the school. Girls and boys are listed on opposite pages in order of admission. These volumes contain the following information pertaining to each student - date of admission; pupil's name; date of birth; religious denomination; the name of previous school and date of leaving. Details pertaining to the parents or guardians including name; residence, and occupation. Volumes 4-8 are the admission registers of the Infant's department.
