The Cinque Islands are part of the Little Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal, located 2.5 km southeast of Rutland Island within the Great Andaman Archipelago, India. Their geographical coordinates range from 11°14′32″N to 11°19′59″N and 92°41′14″E to 92°43′26″E. The Cinque Islands fall under the South Andaman District of the Indian Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The archipelago consists of two islands, North Cinque Island and South Cinque Island, with a distance of only 1.36 km between them. North Cinque Island has an area of 1.97 km² and a coastline length of 12.25 km; South Cinque Island has an area of 4.60 km² and a coastline length of 13.69 km. The Manners Strait separates North Cinque Island from Rutland Island. The total area of the Cinque Islands is 6.58 km², with a total coastline length of 25.94 km.
