ABS - Weekly Payroll Jobs (SA4) October 2020

This dataset presents the percentage change in weekly payroll jobs between the week ending 04 January 2020 to the week ending 3 October 2020 relative to the week ending 14 March 2020 (the week Australia recorded its 100th confirmed COVID-19 case). The data is aggregated to Statistical Area Level 4 (SA4) from the 2016 Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS).\n\nThese weekly estimates are derived from Single Touch Payroll (STP) data, which is provided to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) by businesses with STP-enabled payroll or accounting software each time the business runs its payroll. STP data includes both business and job level tax information and superannuation information.
