1 realization of the capture process for 4 camera trapping grids. Single X's are single traps, double X's are double traps. Green guys were captured on both sides at least once during the experiment, yellow guys were only captured on one side at a time, and black guys never captured. Converting double traps to single traps increases uncertainty in ID, but enlarges the grid so that more individuals are available for capture and are captured (n), increasing precision. Hybrid designs balance these two processes. Note double traps are strategically placed to maximize individuals captured on both sides.<br>
