ERA5-SH: A global grided scale height dataset for tropospheric parameters based on ERA5 reanalysis
收藏资源简介:
The scale height (SH) represents the height increment for a certain parameter to decrease to 36.7% (1/e) of its value at a certain height. We utilized extensive atmospheric profile data from the ERA5 dataset over a 10-year period (2013-2022) to accurately calculate the values of these six key tropospheric parameters. Subsequently, we performed exponential fitting to determine their respective scale heights, leading to the development of a dataset termed ERA5-SH. This dataset contains the scale heights of six crucial tropospheric parameters from 2013 to 2022, with a temporal resolution of one hour and a spatial resolution of one degree, covering 65,160 grid sites worldwide. Due to the limited capacity of online sharing, the products for 2020 are shown here. For more data, please contact us at yangfei@cumtb.edu.cn
