Life Cycle Assessment and Cost Analysis of Soil Stabilization Using Wood Ash–NaCl (WA+NaCl)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset and associated code provide a comprehensive cradle-to-grave life cycle assessment (LCA) of soils stabilized with a wood ash–sodium chloride (WA+NaCl) system, benchmarked against traditional lime and cement binders. It includes: ISO 14040/14044–compliant LCA inventories. Service-life-adjusted functional unit for mechanical durability (15-year design life). Regionalized modeling reflecting Nigerian-specific energy grids, transport logistics, and material sourcing. Economic analysis including direct, climate, and non-climate externalities. Python/Colab scripts to generate LCA figures, sensitivity analyses, and cost comparisons. Supplementary tables with uncertainty ranges, material costs, and societal cost breakdowns. The dataset demonstrates that WA+NaCl stabilization achieves 85–90% reduction in embodied CO₂ emissions, high circularity (>95% waste reuse), and reduced societal costs compared with lime and cement, offering a net-positive, circular alternative for road subgrade and geotechnical applications.
