This interactive dashboard enables users to explore in-depth trends and specifics of clinical trials conducted in the United States, encompassing various aspects like trial phases, study types, medical conditions, and participant demographics. Snowflake Native Apps are applications that operate within the Snowflake environment. These applications allow users to engage with interactive dashboards and functions (UDFs) to visualise and analyse data while keeping all data within the Snowflake ecosystem for a seamless experience.
The AACT dataset encompasses data from ClinicalTrials.gov, including detailed information on clinical trials conducted in various medical fields. The data is segmented by trial phase, study type, medical condition, and demographics such as age and gender. Additionally, it offers insights into geographical distributions, focusing on the location of trials and participating institutions. Data granularity extends to specific trial details like start and end dates, status (active, completed, etc.), and principal investigators. Geographical coverage includes all U.S. states and major regions. The data is updated regularly, ensuring timely and accurate information.
All Element Data products follow the EAV (entity, attributes, value) model with a unified schema. Entities represent tangible objects (e.g., clinical trials, medical conditions), with characteristics (descriptors of the entity) in an index table and values (statistics, measures) in a time series table.

* clinical_trials_timeseries - detailed time-based data on trials, including start/end dates and status, with data extending back to the inception of ClinicalTrials.gov.
* clinical_trials_attributes - comprehensive breakdowns of each series available in the clinical_trials_timeseries table. Joinable on variable.
* condition_index - catalog of medical conditions and related trials. Joinable to the clinical_trials_timeseries.
* institution_index - list of sponsoring institutions and principal investigators, joinable to clinical_trials_timeseries.
