This project investigates the role of lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs) in regulating immune responses during autoimmune myocarditis. Using a mouse model of experimental autoimmune myocarditis (EAM) induced by cardiac myosin peptide in BALB/c mice, we examined the effects of vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C) on cardiac inflammation. Mice were treated with VEGF-C C156S, a selective VEGFR3 agonist, to stimulate lymphangiogenesis during peak inflammation. The data include RNA-seq profiles from VEGF-C- and PBS-treated hearts, providing insight into lymphatic-endothelial mediated immune regulation.
