Real-time Drilling Data of the Borehole

The dataset presented herein comprises drilling data obtained while drilling a 16-inch borehole utilizing a roller cone drill bit in conjunction with a positive displacement motor (PDM). It comprises nine input variables and one output variable, representing the penetration rate (ROP). These dataset entries were employed to construct a model to enhance and optimize drilling speed. Additionally, various analytical techniques were applied, including Random Forest Feature Importance and Heat Map analysis, to ascertain the associations between drilling parameters and drilling speed.
